A University of Benin student drowned in River Benue on the closing day of Nigeria University Games Association in Makurdi, the News Agency of Nigeria reports. Chairman, NUGA Medical and Sanitation Sub-committee Omeche Onoja confirmed the incident. The name of the student was not disclosed.
